Both she and George were born in Stoke Prior, Worcestershire. John Arthur was 1and born in Redditch In 1871 and 1881 William lived in Kidderminster with his family. His father, John, was a stonemason. In 1881 William was a plumber and glazier. In 1901 William was living in New Road, Stoke Prior, and was a police sergeant. In 1916 William was still a police inspector in Redditch.
