Notes: Thomas and Ellen’s son was Ernest Arthur Owen who was born in 1881 in Redditch. They were living in Britten Street and Thomas was a clerk. Thomas Owen was still a letter carrier in 1901, but no longer living in Church Road. He was a boarder at 1 no. 2, Court, Hill Street, but his wife was not with him. He died in 1906. In 1911 Ernest was married with two children and living in Lodge of Upwood, Barnt Green, Worcestershire as a domestic coachman
