Notes: Wife Sarah (34) plus 1 son + 2 servants + ostler at home. Henry was the licensee of the “Fox and Goose” 1860-1868. On later census the “Fox & Goose” was classed as being at 8 Market Place but unable to find Market Place on this census but had the Fox & Goose in Alcester Street but possibly should have been Chapel Green as 2 entries on the census were in Chapel Green. On the 1851 census Henry and Sarah lived in Kings Norton. In the 1865 Jones Mercantile Directory of the Iron District had the “Fox & Goose” in Church Green South. Henry died 2nd April 1869 and was Innkeeper from Redditch.
