(On the 1911 census they had stated that they had had 3 children born alive) On the 1901 census they lived 14 Alcester Street but down as 14 Red Lion Street, Redditch and next door as on 1911 census to Sarah Tolley. In the 1912 Kelly’s Directory Alfred was classed as Hairdresser, 14 Alcester Street. In the 1916 Kelly’s Directory Alfred was now at 9 Alcester Street and still a Hairdresser. Alfred died in 1942.
