On the 1851 census they lived in Alcester street but no numbers stated on this census and the enumerator went from Beoley Street to this house in Alcester street then back to Beoley Street. (On later census Beoley Street became Alcester Street) On the 1871 census their son John lived in Alcester Street but no numbers stated on the early census. In the 1870 Kelly’s Directory Charles was Grocer & Ale & Porter Agent, Alcester Street. Charles died 19th March 1870.
