Notes: Wife Mary Emma (Tay) (30) plus 7 children + 1 aunt + 2 lodgers at home. (On the 1861 census this was the last house the enumerator went to on Alcester Street before Ipsley Street) On the 1851 census Arthur was married to Harriet and they lived in Chapel Green West,Redditch. In the 1872 Post Office Directory they have an entry for Arthur George Baylis & Sons, Needle Manufacturers, Royal Needle Manufactory. On the 1871 census Mary Emma was now a widow and the Needle Manufacterer living in Alcester Street. No numbers stated on the early census. On the 1881 census their son Arthur George lived at 43 Alcester Street. Arthur George Snr., died 27th June 1866.
